All five were made for Victoria 4, but I use them for G2F, G3F, and Iray. Aiko 9 is pretty easy to get hands down. These are my top five fantasy women outfits, that I use time and time again in my artwork. So, if you can pull off getting her on discount, then go for it. The only downside to her is that she's still quite a bit more expensive than past Aikos (including past 8th anniversary bundles). 8th anniversary bundles are always quite difficult to get, and with the 9th anniversary, there's some added discounts for buying her in this bundle. If someone really wanted Aiko, this is the time to buy her, as the bundle was reduced (compared to her 8th anniversary), and an 8th anniversary bundle is no where to be seen. But I personally get confused if it's the same print, when it's in such a bad state.Īiko 9 is the best Aiko for the first time. And the print is smaller than the SD print. I mean, it's fine, but I'm sure the quality is subpar compared to the SD print used for the Aiko 8 DVD in Japan. Sometimes the cover is nice and crisp and vibrant, and the menus are great.
The Blu-ray itself has a standard cover, and the same type of menu as the rest of the Aikos. If you have an English dub, the audio quality is very similar to the DVD. The voice actors' performances are great and they sound great in this. They also went to and used the same Japanese audio track as the rest of the Aikos. If you have watched the Aiko 8 DVD, you will notice that the sound is a bit more forward and punchy. It's possible I will get it just to support TRU, but I would be really happy if I never buy any Aiko again. I'll regret buying them, and I certainly won't buy them. So, the bottom line is that I am far from disappointed, but not overly impressed. That's more than the Aiko2, which would be a bargain at $30, and the Aiko3, which is a $64 bargain.
But the best option for the most money at the moment is the Aiko8 for $78. I would be happy with G5 at $13, or maybe a $25 Aiko. I would like to see an 8 series that takes the spotlight.
